bridal Dressing
This luxe and essential service ensures you and your bridal party can be present in the moment. With a professional seamstress acting as garment concierge and stylist, there will be no ruining your hair and make-up using a steamer or feeling frantic getting everything prepped. You can all just enjoy getting pampered, while Roux makes sure your attire is also photo-ready.

StandarD inclusions:
Roux will arrive on-site to steam and prep your party's garments. Equipped with an extensive toolkit, Roux will also be present to solve any unexpected needs, spot-clean garments, or make last-minute, emergency repairs. (Roux has repaired broken zippers, buttons, bowties; sewn in bra cups and hanger straps; sewn a too-high slit closed; replaced hooks and loops; fixed and untangled jewelry... you name it, it's happened.) Once attire is attended to, Roux is available to tend to you and even assist your photographer with any photo staging or styling assistance.
Because availability is limited, submitting your initial inquiry at least 6 months before your wedding is recommended.

Bridal Dressing is booked a la carte and will be completely tailored to your needs beyond a 4 hr minimum.

Roux Bridal is proud to be a Certified Partner with Missouri Gown Preservation. This incredible St. Louis company was founded by seamstresses who oversee every step. Your gown is cleaned and cared for here in Missouri using museum-quality cleaning and preservation processes trusted by textile conservators.

Process + Appointments:
Consultations are booked online; add-ons like embroidery and inclusions for accessories like veils will be available at your consult.
Consists of 2 consultations: a drop-off appointment where we will inspect your gown together and discuss your preservation; and a pick-up appointment where we’ll walk you through long-term care and storage tips.
Timeframe + Scheduling:
Most gowns are ready in 8-12 weeks.
Preserving within the first few months after your wedding will ensure best results. But even if it's been years since your day, now is always better than never and MGP regularly cares for older gowns.

Gown cleaning
Roux's in-house cleaning is a gentler alternative to dry cleaning, and is available for formal and bridal gowns.

Formal Dress Cleaning
Simply bring your garments to Roux at the booked time, and pick-up at the scheduled time. Woven garment bags are available.
Bridal gown cleaning:
A hand-done alternative to dry cleaning for formal attire, or for brides who gowns are not extensively dirty and they're not yet ready to invest in preservation. Once cleaned it will be steamed and then placed in a hanging woven garment bag with padded cloth or gold metal hangers and layered with acid free tissue paper where needed. Any original non-woven bags will be returned to you separately.
*Gowns are a minimum of $200.
Hand-embroidery is available for the woven bags at added cost.

book gown cleaning
This is not a preservation substitute and should only be used as a temporary alternative for lightly dirtied gowns, as it can not guarantee protect your gown indefinitely. Preservation should still be sought out within a couple years.
(Preservation is a more cost-effective and appropriate cleaning solution for heavily soiled gowns)
